Advice on Hotels in Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is the newest luxury Las Vegas hotel. It has it's own 18-hole golf course and ranks with the likes of the Bellagio Hotel and Mandalay Bay Hotel. There's quite a bit of hipe around Wynn Las Vegas because it's new and very big. Because it's new, the Wynn Las Vegas is bringing in celebrities on a regular basis. If you like golf, there is no better place to stay in Las Vegas. Wynn Las Vegas also hosts the new Le Rêve show in a theater that was custom built for the show.

The Palms Hotel, the Rio Hotel and the Hard Rock Hotel are the best places for a young crowd. These Las Vegas hotels all have a great night life, attractive waitresses, and generally attractive young people running around. The gambling at the Hard Rock Hotel is not as serious as other places, so it's a good place for first timers. The Plams Hotel has a great high-end bar on top of the hotel and a good scene in their club downstairs. Both the Rio Hotel and the Hard Rock Hotel have great pool scenes from the spring to the fall. The only minor problem with all these hotels is that they are all off the strip, but that is not necessarily a as bad as it seems since taxi and limos is pretty cheap and quick. Beside you might just stay at these Las Vegas hotels, since the scene is pretty fun.

The Bellagio Hotel, the Mandalay Bay Hotel and the Venetian Resort Hotel are some of the best and nicest looking hotels in all of Las Vegas. They are less ideal for the bachelor party crowd, but ideal for a romantic date or anniversary. It is common to see a least one wedding party wondering around the Bellagio casino. If you had to pick a place for a wedding the Bellagio is the most fancy of the hotels. If you are not staying at the Venetian Resort Hotel, definitely stop by with your date for lunch or dinner. The Ballagio hosts "O" - the famous Cirque du Soleil show - and the Venetian is hosting the Blue Man Group. The Mandalay Bay Hotel has a huge sand beach and a great pool scene during the warmer months. "THEhotel" at the Mandaley Bay is separate part of the resort that offer designer rooms with cool modern furniture.

The MGM Grand Hotel is the largest hotel in Las Vegas with a diverse croud and a very large casino. It's a great value for the quality of the place and the central location of the hotel. The MGM Grand a nice family place that will keep everyone entertained, but also a good home base for the party croud. The MGM Grand is also the new home of the newest Cirque du Soleil show called KÀ.

Caesars Palace Hotel is a great hotel and casino becuse you feel like a high roller walking around, but it can be a little expensive for what it is. Ceasars Palace has one of the most popular nightclubs in Las Vegas called Pure, but you might be standing in line for a long time, unless you are a Vegas VIP. The Las Vegas Hilton has a similar crowd, but it feels a little less crammed and smoky.

The New York New York Hotel, the Mirage Hotel, and the Treasure Island Hotel are all good places to stay and they usually have a decent night lilfe. We would vote Mirage the best out of these three for places to stay, though the New York New York Hotel has the Zumanity Cirque du Soleil show, which has made it more of a hotspot.

The Luxor Hotel is better than Excalibur Hotel but both are kinda old and worn down. The Luxor Hotel used to have the Blue Man Group which could draw a crowd, but they lost that to the Venetian Resort Hotel.

The Monte Carlo Vegas is a pretty nice hotel with a great pool area. They had a slump a couple of years back, but they are back in action. In general, the Monte Carlo Vegas has good rates for a top quality hotel resort and is very central on the strip.

Las Vegas Vacation Packages

Again, if you are making reservations for hotels, make sure to check out Las Vegas vacation packages. It's almost always cheaper, especially if you are just going to Las Vegas for the weekend. South West Airlines seems to have the best vacation packages to Las Vegas with almost any of the hotels.
